Happy 4th Birthday Owen!! We spent the day before at Bear Lake. The kids love going to the lake. The day of Owen's birthday was a Sunday. We went to church. Everyone at church had already recieved the monthly newsletter. In the newsletter, it mentions the birthdays. Since Owen's was the first, everyone at church was wishing him a happy day. He also got to say the prayer in Primary. This was the first task he has done in Primary. Then, they sang "Happy Birthday" to him. So he was thinking he was a pretty big deal by the time we got home. That evening we had Mom and Dave for dinner, cake and ice cream, and presents. The only thing Owen had asked for was an airplane cake. I probably could have made it myself, but had Walmart do it. He was so excited about his cake. He would check to make sure it was ok about every half hour. But was so good not to mess with it. He was such a little man on this day. He was very polite and thanked everyone for his presents. I love Owen so much. He came into our life when things were pretty dark. He taught us we could be happy again. It's definately been a challenge getting used to a boy. He does things much different than the girls did. But I am so glad he is in our family. He likes adventure. He loves food with spice. He is always engineering something. He has a dry sense of humor, but keeps us laughing. I love you Hoovin!
